This team cares for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens by preparing the sanctuary for worship and communion and cleaning up afterward.
Greeting people as they enter a church is more than a handshake and a smile - it's about making sure people feel safe and welcome at Faith. If you have an interest in creating a warm environment for our guests, join this team.
Enjoy helping others? Ushers stand ready to aid those who might need assistance, from directing latecomers to open seats to helping with an emergency. They hand out bulletins, assist with communion, count attendees, and gather the welcome folders.
Do you enjoy reading scripture? Are you comfortable reading in public? This group might be a good fit for your skills.
This team is composed of anyone who wishes to play a musical instrument during worship. That instrument can be your voice, a piano, a guitar, or even a kazoo! If you enjoy serving the congregation by connecting through the power of music, this team is a good choice for you. Current music groups include the Faith Singers, the Chancel Choir, and the Exaltation Ringers. We also welcome solos and ensembles.
Our children have musical gifts to share and love sharing them... they just need a little guidance. This team selects music and prepares our children to sing in worship.
The "Stream Team" uses microphones, speakers, and other technologies to make sure all congregants can hear and understand the worship service. They also provide live streaming to allow all members of the Faith family to worship together, even from great distances.
Assisting with the Lord's Supper is an incredibly important task, but don't let that scare you away! Weekly communion is an essential part of our worship service and this team needs people that understand the reverence and compassion this offers to our Faith Family. Communion assistants help distribute the bread and wine used during this sacrament.
Are you a creative person and comfortable with technology? Are you interested in using those talents to build slides for the worship service or to post church events on social media? If spreading the Good News through art interests you, check out this group.
